CLEAR identifies studies in topic areas of interest and includes them in a searchable database. The types of studies in the database include those designed to test a causal effect as well as studies with other types of designs, such as implementation studies and descriptive studies. Studies with causal designs are reviewed against CLEAR evidence guidelines and given a rating (please see our Review Process for more information on evidence ratings).
